Minecraft Dungeons is a new game developed by Mojang and is all set to release on 26th May 2020. It is said to be released for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Windows, and Play Station 4. Minecraft Dungeons Beta version was launched on 25th March and is available for 2-3 weeks.

Minecraft Dungeons was to be released in the last week of April but the COVID-19 had caused some delay in the development schedule for the game. This led to the postponement of the release of the game. Till the time players can enjoy Minecraft Dungeons Beta Version.

The Minecraft Dungeons is inspired by classic dungeon crawlers. A single or maximum of four players can play the action-packed levels and defeat the evil Arch-Illager. What is Minecraft Dungeons Beta?

This is actually a technical beta version that has been launched and has a sample of few levels of the full version of Minecraft Dungeons. It aims to test the online gameplay. The company had released a notice in October to sign up for the Minecraft Dungeons Beta and opened registration for the early testing of the game.

The participants were selected at random amongst the people who had signed up earlier. The participants who got selected got an invite through mail to play the Minecraft Dungeons closed beta version. The company has clearly specified that people with no invite will not be able to play the closed beta which has disappointed many Minecraft lovers.

In the Minecraft Dungeons Beta, players are able to access the first few levels of the game with friends with a multiplayer setting. Every playthrough has a different layout, mob encounters, and loot drops as the levels are generated procedurally.

But, the progress made in the closed beta version won’t be carried to the full game. It started on 25th March 2020 and is available for only 2-3 weeks. After that, the game is all set to launch on 26th May.

The only Minecraft Dungeons Beta is released. the full version will be released on 26th May 2020. This released beta is closed Beta, which means it is not available for everyone. Unless you have registered for Beta and you are one of the lucky participants to get access to the game via email, you can not download the Beta version from any other sources.

The full version of the game is available for pre-order for Windows and the Xbox One platform. It is currently not available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Every platform has two editions: Standard Edition and Hero Edition.

The Standard version will cost 19.99$ and the cost of the Hero version will be 29.99$ as there are some extra features added to it. The game will be easily available for downloading from the official website of the Minecraft i.e. minecraft.net

How to Play Minecraft Dungeons Beta?

As of now, the game is available for only selected people who had signed up for “Minecraft Dungeons Beta” and received an invite to play. The limited participants were given code to access the game. Only about 1000 players were allowed to use the closed beta version.

Others who did not get a chance tried to find out ways to play but were unsuccessful as the company has already made an announcement that no additional participants will be added. So, the others have to wait for the launch of the game to experience the world of Minecraft Dungeons.
